Thomas the Tank Comes to Town

Each Year in July Dillsboro gets a week long visit from one of the most famous trains today, Thomas the Tank Engine.
Thomas arrives on the back of a flatbed Semi Trailer and is carefully placed on the tracks for his daily runs carrying thousands of whooping passengers in his cars.

Easter Hat Parade March 22, 2008

On March 22, 2008 everyone was invited to don their most festive Easter hat and join in a march around town. The crowd was really large this year and even the dogs got involved as well as a local car club displaying their fine vintages.
